constant repatching and low memory game shut down

Since the patch 2.6, the Launcher redownloads at every start, and I keep getting the game dropped for low memory access. this didn't happen in the 2.5 version. I also get major lag spikes that I didn't get before the patch. My meter would drop from 180fps to 10fps. This isn't an exaggeration. Hope this help in fixing debugging or point in the right direction to a smoother game play.
