Combining the auction houses would be a great idea, because the servers population is so low that there's hardly anything to buy on any of the auction houses. The easiest way to do that would be to just to connect all of the Horde and Alliance auctioneers to the Goblin auction house, so it's all just one big auction house. You would basically be tripling the auction houses size, so it would at least look like there's more to buy.

I love that idea. My first Wow WOTLK server (long dead) had a merged AH and worked great, it was a similar server to this one with hundreds of players.

Merge Auction Houses , ... really ? , but why , where is the problem to merge this houses. Horde is a faction , and they have their own AH , and alliance is another faction and they have their AH . Why to combine them ? This game , was created by one single reason : fight and war between 2 factions : Horde and Alliance . Why do you wanna mixed them together ? Do you wanna created one single sheep group ? The moment from this 2 factions will be combined , the game is over .

ITR Wow - long dead so hopefully Mania won't get upset I mentioned another server.
Hundreds of players, Cross-Faction, had friends on both sides, everyone was so helpful and raids/dungs ran all the friggin time. I had heard it closed when the single owner had issues with his GMs (one in particular who opened her own soon after).
