Mouse Stops working after game launches

Title says it all, wasn't sure what to do, so I deleted everything and completely re-downloaded client. All the required boxes are unchecked. However, when I run the launcher, and it checks for updates, and I click the play button, at the terms and conditions page, the mouse won't move. I got it to scroll down once, but I couldn't move the pointer to accept. Is anyone aware of the cause to this issue? Thank you
