Weird quest behavior in Dalaran?

Hey everyone,
I ran into something really strange today and I’m not sure if it’s a known issue or if I messed something up. While doing a quest in Dalaran, the NPC gave me the quest normally, but after I completed the objective and went back, the NPC didn’t have the turn-in marker. Even weirder, relogging made the quest appear as incomplete again, but the items I had already used were gone.
I checked my quest log, abandoned and picked it up again, and even tried switching characters, but the behavior stayed the same. Has anyone else experienced something like this recently? Just want to know if this is a bug or if there’s a specific condition I’m missing. Thanks in advance!

sounds like a WoW private server moment lol. I've seen quests reset progress after relog before. Usually fixed after maintenance may be.
