everytime I click on play with the new launcher it tells me it failed to open archive interface.MPQ
does anyone have a solution to fix that and also I cant seem to get my launcher to update to 2.11.2 there is no update button and everytime i download the new patch to update it doesnt seem to do anything

I think you may have an old client.
You can try deleting the file.
It should be in your Data\enGB folder or the corresponding one for the language of the client.

If that fais I would get the latest client with the torrent. Check our Downloads page.

I got the torrent file from the download pages and used the torrent program that is recommended on the same page and it wouldnt let me extract it.
But i will completely delete the old client from the computer and redownload a whole new one and see if that works

I've checked the error logs; you can take a look at them.
