Hey guys,
Been having a frustrating issue lately. WoW keeps freezing on the loading screen right before I enter the game world. Force closing and restarting doesn't help, happens every single time.
While troubleshooting I opened GeForce Experience and noticed it's throwing error code 0x0003 — the "Something went wrong, try rebooting" message. Rebooted multiple times, still the same.
My setup:

RTX 3060 Ti
Windows 11 22H2
16GB RAM
Playing on Wowmania

Could the NVIDIA issue be causing WoW to freeze? Or are these two completely separate problems? Anyone dealt with this before?

These two are definitely connected. When GeForce Experience throws 0x0003 it means NVIDIA's background services have crashed or lost their permissions, and WoW is heavily dependent on the GPU being stable — so the game just hangs on the loading screen with no way through.

The fix that works for most people is buried in services.msc. Open it with Win+R, find NVIDIA Telemetry Container, go into its Properties → Log On tab → enable "Allow service to interact with desktop." Windows updates silently revoke that permission sometimes and it breaks everything NVIDIA-related without any obvious warning. Restart the service after and reboot.
Also restart these three while you're in there: NVIDIA Display Container LS, NVIDIA LocalSystem Container and NVIDIA NetworkService Container. If any show Stopped status just Start them manually.

On the WoW side, make sure you clear your Cache and WTF folders inside the WoW directory — corrupted addon data can make the freeze worse when drivers are already unstable. Also worth checking if any of your addons haven't been updated recently, outdated ones are a common trigger for loading screen hangs especially after patches.

If none of that works, a Winsock reset via CMD as administrator is worth trying before going nuclear with a full driver reinstall.
