The point of a "rare" or "elite rare" is the better-than-average drops. However, I've noticed many of these rares drop literally nothing. Not even fancy trash. I've just killed Dessecus, an elite rare (link below), and after nearly I nearly died, he also dropped nothing.
If this is normal, sorry for mentioning it. It has been SEVERAL years since I've played WotLK and my memory isn't great. I simply don't recall killing a rare spawn and getting nothing this frequently, if at all.

I have noticed the same thing with Rare Elites. Dropping nothing, I just stopped hunting them and kept on my leveling grind.

It's so frustrating to defeat Dessecus and not get any rewards! Itomb of the mask've seen this quite often lately, anyone else experiencing it?
