I have the most current launcher, manually downloaded and replaced existing files, and I play each day.
BUT, each day when I use the launcher it downloads the same exact file
patch-enGB-D.MPQ for 304.49 mb

Any suggestions?
It is not a game breaker, it is only a delay in game play and seems to be a waste of downloading.

Many thanks - this server rocks (I know because I have seen many WOTLK servers come and go).

More info: I have noticed each time it gets about 15-20 mb in and then quits and allows a login, that download was also very slow.
I had redownloaded the Launcher but it made no difference.

Is it possible to get that file only? patch-enGB-D.MPQ
If not I might consider getting the whole thing all over again, a clean copy.

Solution: I downloaded that single file using the torrent for the full game, replaced that file and now not updating anymore.
