Log into game FIRST, then vote, I used to have this problem but it works this way for me. There are times when it does not record but those points do catch up. Be sure to log fully into game first.

What works for me - log into the game first and then vote, you might not see the physical votes shown but they seem to come in game later.
The trick is to log into the game FIRST - that's what works for me and suggested by others.

Finally figured it out!
It was my (insert bad word here) Antivirus!
I turned it off and now back to normal...dang it all...can't believe I wasted that much time.
Now I need to add exceptions for this game, hopefully this will help someone else later.

Couple weeks later still happening.
Once or twice a week get 8 points, most other days 1 point, today for some reason 0 points.
I will have to pay attn to what days it actually records and see of there is a pattern.
