DKs Frost DW

Back in Classic WOTLK I did DW frost tank i understand blood was always a good tank speck but i was wondering when it comes to tanking is DW frost still as good as it was back then i hate blood and will not tank in that speck. I know 3.3.5 did change the trees some TIA

been playing for a few months now...
back in the day i also tanked FROST and for threat generation it is still absolutely better than blood (though blood in more survivable).
the big issue ive run into is the paradigms of the current player base; i can only surmise its just that, in general, "they" have been so over-geared for so long that a lot of them have been pidgin-holed into believing that there is only one way to do things. ive seen groups give up simply because they didnt have the DPS to "power through" when knowing how to handle the fight mechanic would have seen success.
overall the community is friendly enough...

Is 2h or DW better for frost DK?
