New Client 2.1.0 - To be released this Tuesday.

Postby Janitor » Fri Sep 08, 2017 1:30 pm

Hello all,

We have now set the date for the release of the new client patch for this Tuesday (12/09/2017).
After fixing all the issues that caused the first attempt to be pushed back we are confident that we are now good to go.

The patch should be about 1.25GB and should be a smooth download via the Launcher as always.

Make sure you start the Launcher as admin and do not interrupt it until the "Play" button becomes enabled or you may corrupt the patch and be required to download it all over again.

We will also make the patch available as a ZIP file and as always update the client torrent to the new version.

We have fixed a few crash issues and also add 56 new mounts and pets.

NOTE: We will be performing some give aways to the first ones to get the new 2.1.0 client. Good luck!

Thank you for your support!

Will these crash fixes resolve any loading screen and spirit release crashes I've experienced a dozen times or more today? The game is unplayable in this state.

I've not had any crashes like you describe so it might not be the client

Did you update to 2.1.0 last week and not switch back? The original 2.1.0 had some issues which is why it was pulled and everyone was told to pull down the prior client again.

Still running 2.0.8b according to my login screen and the files I reinstalled. Yesterday was crash-free, but I've crashed twice in 5 minutes of logging in today, running around Dalaran and taking a portal to Orgrimmar.

The client downloads every time I run the launcher. In game it says I am at WoW-Mania 2.1.0, but many models are displaying as little blue and white cubes.

To e more specific, my horde druid travel form and ratchet / booty bay mobs so far are the main problem.

Same here.. ran the update for the 3rd time and still not working, I also tried to delete Patch enGB-A, B, D, C, E then use the launcher but nothing, the issue is still there.
